रंजित हत्याकांड का खुलासा ना होने से झारखंड के इस क्षेत्र में नहीं पड़े एक भी वोट

झारखंड : चतरा के प्रतापपुर प्रखंड के नवरत्नपुर के बूथ संख्या 201 में चुनाव के पहले चरण के मतदान में बीते दिन 13 नवंबर को एक भी वोट नहीं पड़े। जानकारी के अनुसार यहां के ग्रामीणों ने विगत 28 सितंबर को हुए गांव के युवक रंजित यादव की मौत का अब तक खुलासा नहीं होने के विरोध में इन्होने वोट का बहिष्कार किया है।

 वही इस संबंध में मृतक के परिजनों का कहना है कि रंजित की हत्या करने के बाद उनके शव को पेड़ से लटका कर आत्महत्या बताने की कोशिश की गई थी। पुलिस द्वारा इस हत्याकांड का अब तक खुलासा नहीं होने से नाराज नवरत्नपुर के ग्रामीणों ने चुनाव में वोट का बहिष्कार कर दिया। ग्रामीणों का विरोध इतना अधिक था कि मतदान केंद्र पर किसी भी राजनीतिक दल का कोई पोलिंग एजेंट भी मौजूद नहीं था

According to sources, local villagers boycotted the election in protest against the authorities' failure to solve the death case of Ranjit Yadav, a local youth, who died on September 28. Relatives of the deceased claim that after Ranjit was murdered, his body was hung from a tree to make it appear as a suicide. Upset over the lack of resolution in this murder case, the residents of Navratnpur chose to boycott the election. Their protest was so intense that no polling agents from any political party were present at the voting center.
