पटना: बिहार के समस्तीपुर जिले में जयनगर से दानापुर जाने वाली इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस की चेयर कार कोच से अचानक धुआं उठने लगा। धुंआ देख यात्रियों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। जैसे ही लोको पायलट को पता चला तो उसने ट्रेन राेक दी। ट्रेन के रुकते ही घबराए यात्री बाहर कूदने लगे, जिससे कई यात्रियाें काे मामूली चाेट आयीं। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही रेलवे कर्मचारियाें ने तुरंत धुंए पर काबू पा लिया। इसके बाद यात्रियाें ने राहत की सांस ली और ट्रेन काे रवाना किया गया।
चालक की सूझबूझ से ट्रेन को समय रहते रोक दिया गया
हाजीपुर मंडल के सीपीआरओ सरस्वतीचंद ने बताया कि घटना मंगलवार को सुबह करीब नौ बजे की है। जयनगर से दानापुर जाने वाली इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस की चेयर कार बोगी से पूसा रोड और दुबहा स्टेशन के बीच ब्रेक शू में आग लगने से धुआं निकलने लगा। इससे यात्रियों में भय व्याप्त हाे गया। हालांकि चालक की सूझबूझ से ट्रेन को समय रहते रोक दिया गया, नहीं ताे बड़ी घटना हाे सकती थी। घटना में कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ है। फिलहाल घटना की जांच की जा रही है।

Seeing the smoke, there was panic among the passengers. As soon as the loco pilot came to know, he stopped the train. As soon as the train stopped, the panicked passengers started jumping out, due to which many passengers got minor injuries. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the railway employees immediately controlled the smoke. After this, the passengers breathed a sigh of relief and the train was sent off.

Hajipur division CPRO Saraswatichand said that the incident happened on Tuesday at around 9 am. Smoke started coming out of the chair car bogie of the Intercity Express going from Jaynagar to Danapur due to a fire in the brake shoe between Pusa Road and Dubaha station. This created fear among the passengers. However, due to the presence of mind of the driver, the train was stopped in time, otherwise a major accident could have happened. There were no casualties in the incident. At present, the incident is being investigated.
