LOYOLA SCHOOL CELEBRATES GRADUATION NITE’

Loyola School proudly held a memorable Graduation Nite’ for its outgoing batch of Std. 12 students, marking the culmination of their academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter of their lives. The evening was filled with moments of reflection, gratitude and inspiration as the management, teachers, students and their parents gathered to celebrate this milestone.
The event commenced with the Academic Procession, a moment of pride, as the graduating students and faculty walked with dignity and honour. This was followed by the Lighting of the Lamp, accompanied by a soulful prayer song, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment.
The Rector of the School, Fr. K.M. Joseph delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the evening by acknowledging the hard work and perseverance of the students. The School President then took the stage, sharing an inspiring speech that highlighted the achievements and unity of the graduating class.
A special video presentation captured the journey of the students, bringing back cherished memories of their school years. 
The most awaited moment arrived with the distribution of certificates and special awards, recognizing academic excellence, leadership, and extracurricular achievements.
Adding a personal touch to the celebration, a parent representative shared heartfelt words, expressing gratitude to the school for shaping the students’ future.
Prayers by representatives of teachers and students invoked the blessings of the Almighty for the graduates as they step into a new phase of life.
The message from the Principal, Fr. Vinod Fernandes , resonated with encouragement and wisdom, emphasizing on Ignatian values of ‘Magis’ and being men and women for others.
The highlight of the evening was the Passing the Light ceremony, where educators symbolically handed over the flame of knowledge to the students in a candle-lighting ritual, signifying their transition into the world awaiting them.
The ceremony concluded with the School Anthem, uniting everyone in a moment of pride and nostalgia.
Graduation Night for the 2024-2025 batch at Loyola School was a heartfelt and dignified event, leaving an indelible mark on the students as they embark on their future endeavours with confidence and determination.
SPECIAL AWARDS
The AIWC Award for Social Service is meant for that student of the outgoing twelfth standard who excels himself or herself in the service of others.
Sejuti Bose 
The Achievement Award is given to a student who is consistently persevering and has the courage and the will-power to rule his/her personal life in spite of all odds. 
Pragati Gupta
The Vineet Soni Memorial Congeniality Award is for the most cheerful, helpful & enthusiastic student of the outgoing ISC Commerce Stream.
Srishty Murmu

The Allencherry Award is given to a student who is a ‘PERSON FOR OTHERS’. He or she goes out of his or her way to help others and be a source of inspiration for others.

5. The Gyanprakash Trophy for Girls for All Round Excellence in Plus Two is in recognition and encouragement of overall excellence, personality development and achievement among the senior most girl who lives up to the spirit of Loyola.

T.A. Gabba Award for Man of Principles is an award dedicated to the memory of T.A. Gabba, an honest, upright and brave officer who laid down his life to uphold the above ideals, which he acquired during his schooling at Loyola.

8. The Loyola Award:  
The LOYOLA AWARD is given to a student of the Senior Class who is adjudged an outstanding representative of Loyola for academic excellence, loyalty to the school and participation in school activities. He / She manifests qualities of leadership, characterized by selfless service. He / She is an ideal Loyola Student who serves others according to our school motto “In Charity and in Justice” for God, his/her country and his/her fellowmen.

जमशेदपुर महिला विश्वविद्यालय सिदगोडा कैंपस में द्वितीय दीक्षांत समारोह के संदर्भ में प्रेसवार्ता सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया

जमशेदपुर महिला विश्वविद्यालय के सिदगोडा कैंपस में द्वितीय दीक्षांत समारोह के संदर्भ में आज दिनांक 31/.1/ 25 को सिदगोड़ा कैंपस में समय 11:30 बजे कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल में प्रिंट मीडिया एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया के बन्धुओ के साथ प्रेसवार्ता सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया इस अवसर सर्वप्रथम मीडिया प्रवक्ता डॉ सुधीर कुमार साहु ने मिडिया बन्धुओं का स्वागत किया गया । माननीय कुलपति महोदया प्रो० डॉ० अंजिला गुप्ता के द्वारा मिडिया बन्धुओं को सम्बोधित किया गया ।दीक्षांत समारोह के संदर्भ में कई महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं पर पत्रकारों से वार्ता किया ।
इस अवसर पर कुलसचिव श्री राजेंद्र जायसवाल , अधिष्ठाता छात्र कल्याण डॉ किश्वर आरा , परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ रमा सुब्रमण्यन , परीक्षा विभाग की ओ एस डी श्रीमती अमृता कुमारी ,वित्त पदाधिकारी डॉ जावेद अहमद, विकास पदाधिकारी डॉ० सलोमी कुजूर एवं डॉ०सनातन दीप, लाइब्रेरी को ऑर्डिनेटर डॉ रिजवाना परवीन वाणिज्य संकायाध्यक्ष डॉ दीपा शरण मीडिया कमेटी से डॉ० पुष्पा कुमारी, डॉ नूपुर अन्विता मिंज , डॉ ० मनीषा टाइटस डॉ० सोनाली सिंह उपस्थित थी।

A press conference was organized at the Sidgora Campus of Jamshedpur Women's University in connection with the second convocation ceremony.

On January 31, 2025, at 11:30 AM, a press conference was held in the conference hall of the Sidgora Campus with members of the print and electronic media. The media spokesperson, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sahu, welcomed the media representatives. Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta, addressed the media personnel and discussed several key points regarding the convocation ceremony.
On this occasion, Registrar Mr. Rajendra Jaiswal, Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Kishwar Ara, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rama Subramanian, OSD of the Examination Department Mrs. Amrita Kumari, Finance Officer Dr. Javed Ahmed, Development Officer Dr. Salomi Kujur and Dr. Sanatan Deep, Library Coordinator Dr. Rizwana Parveen, Commerce Faculty Dean Dr. Deepa Sharan, and members of the Media Committee, including Dr. Pushpa Kumari, Dr. Nupur Anwita Minz, Dr. Manisha Titus, and Dr. Sonali Singh, were present.
