जबतक मांग पूरा नहीं किया जाता है, तबतक हड़ताल जारी रहेगा। राज्य में सरकार आंगनबाड़ी सेविका-सहायिका, बाल संरक्षण समाज कल्याण सहित तमाम विभागों के कामगारों व संविदा कर्मियों को पर्व त्योहार पर मानदेय नहीं दे पा रही और फंड का रोना रो रही है। दूसरी तरफ जनता के टैक्स से जमा सरकारी कोष को बिना काम किए लोगों को झूठे सम्मान के नाम पर पैसा पानी की तरह बहाने की प्रतियोगिता कर रही है। संविदा कर्मियों, आंगनबाड़ी सेविका-सहायिका को स्वास्थ्य बीमा, पेंशन, रिटायरमेंट की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं और नियमित सेवकों और पूर्व माननीयों को एक तरफा लाभ से जोड़कर राज्य के तमाम मेहनत कस आवाम को उपेक्षित कर रही है।
यह लाभ राज्य के तमाम मेहनत कस आवाम को भी मिले। कहा कि केंद्र और राज्य सरकारें जनता की मेहनत की कमाई को बड़े लोगों को ऋण देकर माफ कर दे रही है, या विदेश अपनी सुरक्षा में भगा दे रही है। गरीब जनता को चुनाव पूर्व बिना मेहनत किए खाते में राशि भेज कर मनमानी वेतन भत्ता की वृद्धि और लूट खसोट को छुपाकर जनता को बरगला कर वोट लेने की साजिस कर रही है।
यदि सरकार अपनी चाल में सुधार नहीं करती है तो पुरे राज्य में सरकार के खिलाफ फिर से विधानसभा वार विरोध प्रदर्शन कर संविदा संवाद में किए गए वादे को पूरा करने के लिए जोरदार आंदोलन होगा। झारखंड सरकार के क्रिया कलाप से बेरोजगार, संविदा कर्मी और युवाओं में बड़ी नाराजगी है, तथा 8 सूत्री मांगो के समर्थन और सरकार के विरोध में नारे लगाया। खुंटपानी प्रखंण्ड प्रमुख सह जिला प्रमुख संघ अध्यक्ष श्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा ने भी धरना में बैठकर नैतिक समर्थन दिया। संघ के तरफ से मांग पत्र भी सोफ़ा गया ।अंत में धन्यवाद ज्ञापन कर सभा को समाप्त किया गया, सैकड़ों की संख्या में आंगनबाड़ी सेविका व सहायिका उपस्थित थे।
"West Singhbhum Anganwadi Workers and Assistants Launch Indefinite Strike, Demand Fulfillment of 8-Point Charter"
All Anganwadi workers and assistants in the West Singhbhum district have gone on an indefinite strike. On Monday, under the banner of the Jharkhand State Anganwadi Sevika-Sahayika Joint Struggle Front, the Jharkhand State Anganwadi Sevika-Sahayika Union, Chaibasa District Unit a sit-in protest in front of the old DC office in the Kachhari premises on the second day of the strike, as per their pre-scheduled program, led by the union's state president, Mrs. Anita Birua. The strike will continue until their demands are fulfilled.
The government is unable to pay wages to Anganwadi workers and assistants, employees in child protection, social welfaredepartments, and other contract workers during festivals, citing a lack of funds. Meanwhile, public funds collected from taxpayers are being wasted on false honors without any work being done. There is no provision for health insurance, pensions, or retirement benefits for contract workers and Anganwadi workers and assistants, while regular employees and former legislators enjoy exclusive benefits. This neglects the hardworking people of the state, and there is a demand for these benefits to be extended to all workers.
They claimed that both central and state governments are writing off loans for wealthy individuals or helping them flee abroad under the guise of security, using public funds. Additionally, they accused the government of deceiving the poor by transferring money to their accounts before elections without any effort, hiding arbitrary salary increases and looting, and manipulating voters for political gains.
The protestors warned that if the government does not change its course, there will be widespread protests across the state, especially at every legislative assembly, demanding the fulfillment of promises made during the contractual agreements. The government's actions have angered the unemployed, contract workers, and youth, and slogans were raised in support of their 8-point demands and against the government.
Khuntpani Block Head and District Chief Association President, Mr. Siddharth Honhaga, also joined the protest and offered moral support. A memorandum of demands was also submitted. The gathering concluded with a vote of thanks, and hundreds of Anganwadi workers and assistants were present.
