जमशेदपुर महिला विश्वविद्यालय के मानविकी संकाय द्वारा 25/09/2024 को हिंदी दिवस सह दिनकर जयंती का आयोजन माननीय कुलपति महोदया प्रो. डॉ. अंजिला गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में सिदगोड़ा कैंपस के सुवर्णरेखा सभागार में आयोजित किया गया। दीप प्रज्वलन द्वारा कार्यक्रम की शुभारंभ हुआ।
मानविकी संकायाध्यक्ष डॉ सुधीर कुमार साहु ने अपने स्वागत संबोधन में कवि दिनकर के साहित्यिक योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला साथ ही मुख्य वक्ता डॉ. विजय शर्मा के साहित्य, फिल्म और अनुवाद आदि कई क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय योगदान को रेखांकित भी किया । माननीय कुलपति प्रो. डॉ. अंजिला गुप्ता ने अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में हिंदी की महत्ता , उससे जुड़े विभिन्न राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय अवसरों की भी जानकारी छात्राओं को दी, साथ ही हिंदी साहित्य के प्रति अपने विशेष अनुराग को भी बताया और दिनकर के साहित्यिक व सांस्कृतिक योगदान को भी रेखांकित किया ।
इस दौरान हिंदी विभाग की छात्राओं द्वारा कई प्रस्तुतियां दी गई जिनमें स्नातकोत्तर तृतीय सत्र की छात्रा काजल सिंह कुंटिया के द्वारा दिनकर की ओजपूर्ण कविता कलम या कि तलवार का पाठ किया गया तत्पश्चात रश्मिरथी के तृतीय सर्ग का ओजपूर्ण पाठ स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की छात्रा वर्षा पति ने किया एवं रश्मिरथी के पंचम सर्ग में निहित कर्ण कुंती संवाद पर आधारित श्रुति नाटक का प्रस्तुतिकरण छात्राओं द्वारा किया गया जिसमें कर्ण की भूमिका स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा मोंद्रिता चटर्जी, कुंती की भूमिका स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा कुमारी निशा एवं सूत्रधार की भूमिका स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा संतोषी नाथ ने निभाई । मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में समालोचक एवं लेखिका डॉ. विजय शर्मा मैम ने अपने वक्तव्य में हिंदी दिवस एवं दिनकर जयंती की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए इस बात को सहर्ष बताया कि हिन्दी का अपना महत्व है इसे भुलाया नहीं जा सकता उन्होंने दिनकर के जन्म तथा संघर्षपूर्ण साहित्यिक यात्रा को बताते हुए उनके ओजपूर्ण व्यक्तित्व की ओर सबका ध्यानाकर्षित किया ।
इस दौरान स्नातकोत्तर हिंदी विभाग द्वारा हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित की गई तीन दिवसीय प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए गए तथा सभी सहभागियों को भी प्रमाण पत्र दिए गए । इस तीन दिवसीय प्रतियोगिता में निबंध प्रतियोगिता 18/09/2024 को आयोजित की गई थी जिसमें प्रथम स्थान स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की छात्रा अर्चना सरदार एवं स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा बंदना महतो ने प्राप्त किया , द्वितीय स्थान स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा रासमुनि भूमिज और काजल सिंह कुंटिया ने प्राप्त किया वहीं तीसरा स्थान स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा मोंद्रिता चटर्जी एवं स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा कुमारी निशा ने प्राप्त किया इस दौरान निर्णायक मंडली के रूप में डॉ. अमृता कुमारी, श्रीमती सुनीता कुमारी ने अपनी भूमिका का निर्वहन किया । 19/09/2024 को आयोजित आशुभाषण प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की छात्रा वर्षा पति द्वितीय स्थान स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा मोंद्रिता चटर्जी तथा तृतीय स्थान स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा काजल सिंह कुंटिया ने प्राप्त किया इस दौरान निर्णायक मंडली में डॉ. प्रणिता कुमारी, सुश्री प्रीति शामिल थे ।
20/09/2024 को आयोजित पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम, द्वितीय तथा तृतीय स्थान स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्राओं संतोषी नाथ, मौसमी प्रमाणिक और शुक्ला नायक ने प्राप्त किया, इस दौरान निर्णायक मंडली के रूप में डॉ. मनीषा टाइटस एवं डॉ. जया घोष थी । हिंदी दिवस सह दिनकर जयंती के इस आयोजन में अंग्रेज़ी विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ मनीषा टाईटस, उर्दू विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ रिजवाना परवीन, बंगला विभाग से डॉ जया घोष, तथा परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ रमा सुब्रमण्यम तथा हिंदी विभाग से डॉ. पुष्पा कुमारी , श्रीमती अभिलाषा श्रीमती सिंधु , तहसीन शोधार्थी एवं छात्राएं मौजूद थीं । मंच संचालन हिंदी विभाग की शोधार्थी सुश्री आयशा ने किया एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन स्नातकोत्तर हिंदी विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ नूपुर अन्विता मिंज ने किया ।
"Jamshedpur Women's University Celebrates Hindi Day and Dinkar Jayanti with Literary Enthusiasm and Cultural Presentations"
The Humanities Faculty of Jamshedpur Women's University organized a Hindi Day and Dinkar Jayanti celebration on September 25, 2024, under the leadership of Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta at the Suvarnarekha Auditorium of the Sidgora Campus. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. In his welcome address, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sahu, Dean of Humanities, highlighted the literary contributions of poet Dinkar and also emphasized the contributions of the keynote speaker, Dr. Vijay Sharma, in literature, film, and translation.
In her presidential address, Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta spoke about the importance of Hindi and informed the students about various national and international opportunities related to the language. She also shared her deep affection for Hindi literature and highlighted Dinkar's literary and cultural contributions. Several presentations were made by students from the Hindi Department, including Kajal Singh Kuntia, a postgraduate third-semester student, who recited Dinkar’s powerful poem Kalami Ya Talwar (Pen or Sword), and Varsha Pati, an undergraduate first-year student, who recited the third canto of Rashmirathi. Additionally, a dramatic reading based on the Karna-Kunti dialogue from the fifth canto of Rashmirathi was performed by the students, with Mondrita Chatterjee (undergraduate second year) playing Karna, Kumari Nisha (postgraduate second year) playing Kunti, and Santoshi Nath (undergraduate second year) as the narrator.
The keynote speaker, critic and writer Dr. Vijay Sharma, extended her best wishes for Hindi Day and Dinkar Jayanti and underscored the undeniable significance of Hindi. She shed light on Dinkar's birth and his challenging literary journey, drawing attention to his powerful personality. During the event, certificates were awarded to the winners of a three-day competition organized by the Postgraduate Hindi Department for Hindi Day, and all participants also received certificates.
The essay competition, held on September 18, 2024, saw Archana Sardar (undergraduate first year) and Vandana Mahato (postgraduate second year) securing the first position, Rasmuni Bhumik (postgraduate second year) and Kajal Singh Kuntia securing the second position, and Mondrita Chatterjee (undergraduate second year) and Kumari Nisha (postgraduate second year) securing the third position. The panel of judges included Dr. Amrita Kumari and Mrs. Sunita Kumari. In the extempore competition held on September 19, 2024, Varsha Pati (undergraduate first year) won first place, Mondrita Chatterjee (undergraduate second year) came second, and Kajal Singh Kuntia (postgraduate second year) came third, with Dr. Pranita Kumari and Ms. Preeti serving as judges. The poster competition held on September 20, 2024, awarded first, second, and third places to Santoshi Nath, Moushmi Pramanik, and Shukla Nayak (all undergraduate second-year students), with Dr. Manisha Titus and Dr. Jaya Ghosh as judges.
The event saw the presence of Dr. Manisha Titus (Head of the English Department), Dr. Rizwana Parveen (Head of the Urdu Department), Dr. Jaya Ghosh from the Bengali Department, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rama Subramaniam, Dr. Pushpa Kumari from the Hindi Department, Mrs. Abhilasha, Mrs. Sindhu, Tahseen, researchers, and students. The program was hosted by Hindi Department researcher Ms. Ayesha, and a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nupur Anvita Minz, Head of the Postgraduate Hindi Department.
Ranchi: DNA Test Ordered After Man Denies Fathering Minor's Stillborn Child
"A shocking case has emerged in Ranchi's Chanho police station area, where a minor girl gave birth to a stillborn child on Tuesday. Allegedly, the accused, Sadhanu Mahali, had sexually exploited the minor by promising marriage and impregnated her. After the minor gave birth to the stillborn child, the accused buried the body and refused to marry the minor.
Following this, the victim's family filed a complaint against Sadhanu under the POCSO Act at Chanho police station. The police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. Officer-in-charge Chandan Kumar Gupta stated that action has been taken against the accused and a DNA test of the newborn is necessary to prevent the accused from denying the crime."
