खरसावां मैं मां दामादिरी देवी पूजा अर्चना विधि विधान के तहत की गई। माता के दर्शन को लेकर भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी थी।दामादिरी देवी को पूजा अर्चना कर क्षेत्र की खुशहाली की कामना की गई। मां दामादिरी देवी की पूजा अर्चना करने झारखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अर्जुन मुंडा एवं दशरथ गागराई भी पहुंचे थे।
उन्होंने मां के समक्ष पूजा अर्चना कर क्षेत्र की खुशहाली की कामना की। इस दौरान दामादिरी मेले में हो समाज अखाड़ा द्वारा आयोजित मांगे कार्यक्रम में खरसावां विधायक दशरथ गागराई और समाज के लोग मांदर को थाप पर खूब थिरके। नृत्य कर अपनी भाषा संस्कृति को रक्षा करने का संकल्प अभी लिया। मौके पर गागराई ने कहा कि हमारी संस्कृति है उसको बनाए रखना है। भारत विभिन्नताओं का देश है उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे खुशी है कि देश की संस्कृतिक विरासत को दुनिया के सामने हम लेकर जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मकर संक्रांति का त्यौहार ऐतिहासिक तथ्यों से जुड़ा है। पुराने जमाने के लोग त्योहारों के माध्यम से अपनी खोज को संस्कार में बदलने का काम किया है। यह त्योहार आपस में खुशी बांटने का है।
इधर खरसावां के दामादिरी मैदान में जय मां दामादिरी स्पोर्ट्स द्वारा आयोजित खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम व द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया। खेलकूद के बालक वर्ग की 100 मीटर रेस, बालिका स्पीन रेस,निडिल रेस, लॉन्ग जंप,हाई जंप में प्रथम एवं द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाली प्रतिभाओं को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया। मौके पर पूर्व विधायक मंगल सिंह सोय, भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष उदय प्रताप सिंह देव, विजय महतो, अर्जुन गीप, अनूप सिंह देव, बबलू हेंब्रम, । खेल प्रतियोगिता को सफल बनाने में मुख्य रूप से सुमंत मोहंती, चंद्रशेखर मोहंती, नीलकंठ मोहंती, दिलीप मोहंती, संदीप मोहंती, हिमांशु मोहंती, मनोज मोहंती, शिवकुमार मोहंती, जिकी मोहंती, अमर मोहंती, देव कुमार मोहंती, गोलू महापात्र, सचिन मोहंती रवि मोहंती, आदि ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। मेले में भारी संख्या में लोग उपस्थित थे

In Kharsawan, Maa Damadiri Devi was worshipped as per the rituals. A large number of devotees gathered to have darshan of the mother. Damadiri Devi was worshipped and the prosperity of the region was prayed for. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Arjun Munda and Dashrath Gagrai also reached to worship Maa Damadiri Devi. They prayed to the mother and prayed for the prosperity of the region. During this, in the Mange program organized by Ho Samaj Akhara in Damadiri fair, Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai and people of the society danced to the beats of the Mandar.
They took a pledge to protect their language and culture by dancing. On the occasion, Gagrai said that we have a culture and we have to maintain it. India is a country of diversity. He said that I am happy that we are taking the cultural heritage of the country to the world. He said that the festival of Makar Sankranti is linked to historical facts. People of the old times have transformed their discoveries into culture through festivals. This festival is for sharing happiness amongst one another. Here, in the sports competition organized by Jai Maa Damadiri Sports at Damadiri ground in Kharsawan, the participants who secured first and second positions were honored with prizes.
Talents who secured first and second positions in the boys' 100-meter race, girls' spin race, needle race, long jump, and high jump were honored with prizes. Former MLA Mangal Singh Soy, BJP District President Uday Pratap Singh Dev, Vijay Mahato, Arjun Geep, Anoop Singh Dev, Bablu Hembram, etc were present on the occasion. Sumant Mohanty, Chandrashekhar Mohanty, Neelkanth Mohanty, Dilip Mohanty, Sandeep Mohanty, Himanshu Mohanty, Manoj Mohanty, Shivkumar Mohanty, Jiki Mohanty, Amar Mohanty, Dev Kumar Mohanty, Golu Mohapatra, Sachin Mohanty, Ravi Mohanty, etc. played an important role in making the sports competition a success. A large number of people were present in the fair.
