भारतीय रेलवे की टिकट बुकिंग पोर्टल IRCTC का वेबसाइट और मोबाइल ऐप मंगलवार को फिर से डाउन हो गया. इस महीने यह तीसरा मौका है जब वेबसाइट को आउटेज से गुजरना पड़ा है. इससे पहले 26 दिसंबर को वेबसाइट और ऐप में दिक्कत आई थी।
पीक आवर्स यानी नॉर्मल टिकट बुकिंग के साथ तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग के दौरान IRCTC का वेबसाइट अक्सर डाउन हो जाता है. आउटेज ट्रैकिंग प्लेटफॉर्म डाउन-डिटेक्टर के मुताबिक, सुबह 9:51 बजे से लोगों ने शिकायत दर्ज करना शुरू कर दिया था. 10:21 बजे तक करीब 1300 लोगों ने इसकी रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई।
डाउनडिटेक्टर के मुताबिक, वेबसाइट पर 46%, ऐप पर 42% और स्टेशन वाले टिकटिंग पर 12% लोगों को IRCTC डाउन मिला. इसके बाद, सोशल मीडिया पर कई यूजर्स ने अपनी नाराजगी भी जाहिर की।
IRCTC की ओर से हालांकि इसे लेकर अभी तक कोई बयान जारी नहीं किया गया है, लेकिन यूजर्स को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा. IRTC की वेबसाइट पर परेशानी के चलते यूजर्स ने सोशल मीडिया का रुख किया. लोगों ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर इस समस्या के बारे में खूब पोस्ट किए और IRCTC के खिलाफ खूब आक्रोश दिखाया और इसकी आलोचना की।

यह दिसंबर में दूसरी बार है जब IRCTC की वेबसाइट डाउन हुई है, जिससे हजारों यात्रियों की टिकट बुकिंग प्रभावित हुई. इससे पहले 9 दिसंबर को भी डाउन हो गई थी. IRCTC ने इसका कारण मेंटेनेंस को बताया था. IRCTC ने बताया था कि 9 दिसंबर शाम 4 बजे से 10 दिसंबर शाम 4 बजे तक नया रजिस्ट्रेशन, लॉग इन पासवर्ड में बदलाव और प्रोफाइल पासवर्ड को अपडेट नहीं किया जा सकेगा।

IRCTC वेबसाइट डाउन होने पर अक्सर एक डाउन टाइम मैसेज यूजर को दिखाई देता है, जिसमें लिखा होता है कि मेंटेनेंस के कारण ई-टिकटिंग सर्विस अवेलेबल नहीं है, कुछ देर बाद कोशिश करें।
मंगलवार को 2:38 बजे IRCTC का शेयर 2.32% तेजी के साथा 786.80 के स्तर पर कारोबार कर रहा है. कंपनी का शेयर पिछले एक महीने में 3.64%, 6 महीने में 20.75%, एक साल में 11.78% गिरा है. IRCTC का मार्केट कैप 62,960 करोड़ रुपए है।

The Indian Railways' ticket booking portal, IRCTC, and its mobile app were down again on Tuesday. This marks the third time this month that the website has faced an outage. Previously, issues were reported on December 26.
During peak hours, including normal and Tatkal ticket booking times, the IRCTC website often crashes. According to outage tracking platform Downdetector, complaints started pouring in from 9:51 AM, and by 10:21 AM, approximately 1,300 users had reported the issue.
Downdetector revealed that 46% of the users faced issues on the website, 42% on the app, and 12% while using station-based ticketing systems. Following this, many users expressed their frustration on social media platforms, especially on X (formerly Twitter).
While IRCTC has yet to release a statement regarding this issue, users faced significant difficulties. Due to the disruptions on the IRCTC website, many users turned to social media to voice their concerns. On X, users heavily criticized IRCTC, expressing anger over the recurring issues.
One user sarcastically remarked, "Ashwini Vaishnaw, please shut down your ticketing website. It would be better if you make reels showing how the website works."
This is the second time in December that the IRCTC website has gone down, affecting thousands of travelers' ticket bookings. Earlier, on December 9, the website faced similar issues. At the time, IRCTC cited maintenance as the reason, stating that from 4 PM on December 9 to 4 PM on December 10, new registrations, login password changes, and profile updates would be unavailable.

When the IRCTC website goes down, users often see a downtime message stating that e-ticketing services are unavailable due to maintenance and advising them to try again later.
On Tuesday, at 2:38 PM, IRCTC's share price was trading 2.32% higher at ₹786.80. Over the past month, the company's share price has declined by 3.64%, 20.75% over six months, and 11.78% in a year. IRCTC's market capitalization currently stands at ₹62,960 crores.
