महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन के यात्री समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु डी आर एम से की मांग, सौंप ज्ञापन ।

चक्रधरपुर रेल मंडल अंतर्गत महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन से होकर रोजाना सैकड़ो यात्री व मालवाहक ट्रेनों का परिचालन किया जाता है। इससे रेलवे को अच्छा खासा राजस्व प्राप्त होता है। इसके बावजूद यहां के यात्री सुविधा की घोरभाव है । इस संदर्भ में कल चक्रधरपुर के डी आर एम के नाम से एक ज्ञापन उनके कार्यालय में महालिमोरूप क्षेत्र के युवा सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता हेमसागर प्रधान के नेतृतव में सौंप गया। ज्ञापन में महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन क्षेत्र के मुखिया, वार्ड सदस्य ,ग्राम प्रधान समेत 265 यात्रियों का हस्ताक्षर कराया गया है। ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन के यात्रियों की कई मूलभूत समस्याएं है जैसे कि
पैसेंजर ट्रेन महालिमोरूप स्टेशन से होकर गुजरने वाली पैसेंजर रेलगाड़ियों को ससमय नहीं चलाए जाने पर क्षेत्र के यात्रियों को काफी दिक्कत होती है जबकि यहाँ का एकमात्र यातायात का साधन पैसेंजर रेलगाड़ी ही है ।
यहाँ एक भी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन का ठहराव नहीं है।
फुट ब्रिज इस स्टेशन में फुट ब्रिज की व्यवस्था तो है पर आधा अधूरा। यहां के प्लेटफार्म संख्या 1 , 2 और 3 में फुट ब्रिज है जबकि प्लेटफार्म संख्या चार के सातवां और आठवां रेल लाइन को आर पार करने के लिए ब्रिज की व्यवस्था ही नहीं है । इसके बावजूद इन दोनों पटरियों पर घंटों मालवाहक ट्रेनों को खड़ी कर दी जाती है , ऐसे परिस्थिति में मजबूरन यात्री जान को जोखिम में डालकर ट्रेन के नीचे से आर-पार होते हैं। इससे आए दिन कभी भी कोई बड़ा दुर्घटना हो सकता है।
अंडरग्राउंड पुल महालिमोरूप स्टेशन के नजदीकी मुरुप रेलवे फाटक का लॉक स्टेशन मास्टर के कंट्रोल में होने के कारण गेटमैन इमरजेंसी की स्थिति में भी बंद फाटक को नहीं खोल सकते हैं जिससे लोगों को आवागमन में काफी दिक्कत होती है । यहां पर अंडरग्राउंड पुल का निर्माण करने से लोगों को जाम से मुक्ति मिल जाएगी व आवागम में सहूलियत होगी। इसके अलावे आवेदन में यात्री सुविधा हेतु स्टेशन के बाहर बने शौचालय को चालू करने, पीने के लिए शुद्ध पेयजल की व्यवस्था करने, बारिस से बचने हेतु पर्याप्त यात्री शेड की निर्माण करने, स्टेशन परिसर में पर्याप्त रोशनी हेतु बिजली लाइट लगाने, बैठने हेतु पर्याप्त कुर्सी की व्यवस्था करने, स्वच्छता हेतु अच्छी साफ सफाई करवाने आदि समस्याओं का जिक्र किया गया है।
बहरहाल, चक्रधरपुर के डी आर एम से यात्रियों ने महालिमोरूप स्टेशन में यात्री सुविधा मुहैया कराने की मांग की है।

Despite this, there is a significant lack of passenger amenities at the station.
In this context, a memorandum addressed to the DRM of Chakradharpur was submitted yesterday at his office under the leadership of Hemasagar Pradhan, a young social activist from the Mahalemorup region. The memorandum includes the signatures of 265 passengers, including the village head, ward members, and gram pradhan of the Mahalemorup station area. It highlights several fundamental issues faced by passengers:
1. Passenger Trains
Passenger trains passing through Mahalemorup Station are often delayed, causing great inconvenience to the passengers, as these are the only mode of transportation in the region. Moreover, no express trains stop at this station.
2. Footbridge
Although a footbridge is available, it is incomplete. Platforms 1, 2, and 3 are connected by a footbridge, but platforms 4, 7, and 8 are not connected. Passengers are forced to cross the tracks, often under stationary freight trains, risking their lives. This situation could lead to a major accident at any time.
3. Underground Passage
The nearby Murup railway crossing is locked and controlled by the station master, which means the gateman cannot open the gate even in emergencies. This creates significant difficulties for people. Constructing an underground passage here would alleviate traffic congestion and facilitate smooth movement.
Additionally, the memorandum mentions other passenger facility requirements, such as:
Activating the toilets outside the station.
Providing clean drinking water.
Constructing adequate passenger sheds for shelter during rain.
Installing sufficient lighting for proper illumination in the station premises.
Arranging adequate seating for passengers.
Ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation.
Passengers have urged the DRM of Chakradharpur to provide these basic amenities at Mahalemorup Station.
