ट्रंप ने यह भी कहा कि अमेरिका गाजा में नष्ट हुई इमारतों को समतल करेगा और वहां एक आर्थिक विकास कार्यक्रम शुरू करेगा, जिससे क्षेत्र के निवासियों के लिए रोजगार और आवास की असीमित संभावनाएं पैदा होंगी. ये टिप्पणियां उस समय आईं जब अमेरिकी प्रशासन ने गाजा के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए तीन से पांच साल का समय निर्धारित किया है.
