सरायकेला-खरसावां: कुचाई थाना क्षेत्र में अवैध अफीम की खेती नष्ट, चार आरोपी गिरफ्तार

सरायकेला खरसावां जिले में पुलिस द्वारा लगातार अवैध अफीम की खेती को नष्ट करते हुए अवैध नशाखोरी को समाप्त किया जा रहा है इसी कड़ी में जिलेके कुचाई थाना क्षेत्र में अफीम की खेती कर रहे चार युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज गया है। 

इसमें कुचाई थाना अंतर्गत मेरामजगा गांव के सुखराम मुंडा, बुधराम मुंडा, कुचाई थाना अंतर्गत कुदाडीह गांव के सोना पातर और जामडीह गांव के दीपू प्रधान शामिल है, सरायकेला एसडीपीओ समीर सवैया ने प्रेस वार्ता में बताया कि 30 जनवरी को वरीय पदाधिकारी को सूचना मिली थी कि दलभगा ओपी अंतर्गत मेरीमजगा गांव के समीप अगल बगल के पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में अवैध रूप से अफीम की खेती की गई है सूचना के बाद पुलिस ने इसका सत्यापन कर छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया था छापामारी दल द्वारा गांव में कुल 3.70 एकड़ जमीन पर लगे अवैध अफीम की खेती की नष्ट किया गया छापामारी दलों के द्वारा चार युवकों को गिरफ्तार भी किया गया एसडीपीओ समीर सवैया ने कहा कि अफीम की पौधे को भी बरामद किया गया है।

In Saraikela Kharsawan district, the police are continuously working to eliminate illegal drug activities by destroying illicit opium cultivation. As part of this effort, four youths involved in opium farming were arrested in the Kuchai police station area and sent to judicial custody.

The arrested individuals include Sukhram Munda and Budhram Munda from Meramjaga village under Kuchai police station, Sona Patar from Kudadih village, and Deepu Pradhan from Jamdih village.

During a press conference, Saraikela SDPO Sameer Sawaiya stated that on January 30, senior officials received information about illegal opium cultivation in the hilly areas near Meramjaga village under Dalbhaga OP. After verifying the information, a raid team was formed. The team destroyed a total of 3.70 acres of illegal opium cultivation in the village.

Additionally, four youths were arrested, and the opium plants were seized. SDPO Sameer Sawaiya confirmed that legal action is being taken to curb such activities.
