पश्चिम बंगाल : नदिया के कल्याणी में पटाखा फैक्ट्री में विस्फोट, कम से कम 04 की मौत

कोलकाता : पश्चिम बंगाल के नदिया जिले के कल्याणी में शुक्रवार को एक पटाखा फैक्ट्री में हुए भीषण विस्फोट में कम से कम 04 लोगों की मौत हो गयी। विस्फोट इतना जबरदस्त था कि पूरी फैक्ट्री तहस-नहस हो गयी और जले हुए शव चारों ओर बिखरे मिले। मृतकों में दो महिलाएं भी शामिल हैं। घटना कल्याणी के रथतला इलाके में घनी आबादी वाले क्षेत्र में हुई। विस्फोट इतना जबर्दस्त था कि फैक्ट्री की दीवारें गिर गयीं और इलाके में अफरातफरी मच गयी। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, विस्फोट के बाद भयंकर आग लग गयी, जिसे दमकल विभाग ने काफी मशक्कत के बाद काबू पाया।

 प्रारंभिक जांच में पुलिस को संदेह है कि पटाखे बनाने के दौरान शॉर्ट सर्किट से आग लगी, जिसके कारण यह विस्फोट हुआ। हालांकि, विस्फोट के सटीक कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस और दमकल विभाग मौके पर मौजूद हैं और मलबे में किसी के फंसे होने की सम्भावना को देखते हुए बचाव अभियान जारी है। दरअसल, पिछले कुछ वर्षों में राज्य में पटाखा फैक्ट्रियों में विस्फोट की कई घटनाएं हुई हैं। 2023 में पूर्व मेदिनीपुर के एगरा में एक अवैध पटाखा फैक्ट्री में धमाके से 09 लोगों की मौत हुई थी। इसके बाद दक्षिण 24 परगना के बजबज और उत्तर 24 परगना के दत्तपुकुर में भी ऐसे हादसे हुए थे, जिनमें कम से कम 07 लोगों की जान गयी थी। अब इस कड़ी में कल्याणी का नाम भी जुड़ गया है। घटना के बाद से स्थानीय लोगों में गुस्सा और दहशत है। घनी आबादी के बीच ऐसी पटाखा फैक्ट्रियों के संचालन पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। लोगों का कहना है कि प्रशासन को इन फैक्ट्रियों पर सख्ती से रोक लगानी चाहिए, ताकि इस तरह की घटनाएं दोबारा न हों।

West Bengal: Explosion in Firecracker Factory in Kalyani, Nadia; At Least 4 Dead

Kolkata: A massive explosion in a firecracker factory in Kalyani, located in the Nadia district of West Bengal, claimed the lives of at least four people on Friday. The blast was so intense that the entire factory was completely destroyed, and charred bodies were found scattered around. Among the deceased were two women.

The incident took place in the densely populated Rathatala area of Kalyani. The explosion was so powerful that the factory walls collapsed, creating panic in the locality. According to eyewitnesses, a massive fire broke out following the blast, which the fire department managed to bring under control after considerable effort.

Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit might have triggered the fire while manufacturing firecrackers, leading to the explosion. However, authorities are still investigating the exact cause. Police and fire department personnel are present at the scene, and rescue operations are ongoing in case anyone is trapped under the debris.

In recent years, several such explosions have occurred in firecracker factories across the state. In 2023, an explosion in an illegal firecracker factory in Egra, East Midnapore, claimed the lives of nine people. Similar incidents also occurred in Budge Budge, South 24 Parganas, and Dattapukur, North 24 Parganas, killing at least seven people. Now, Kalyani has been added to this list of tragedies.

The incident has sparked anger and fear among local residents. There are growing concerns over the operation of such firecracker factories in densely populated areas. Locals demand that authorities impose strict regulations on these factories to prevent such incidents from happening again.
