बड़े पैमाने पर हुई कार्रवाई

चौपारण पुलिस और वन विभाग की टीम ने संयुक्त कार्रवाई करते हुये बड़े पैमाने पर पोस्ता की खेती को ट्रैक्टर से रौंद डाला। अफीम की खेती के लिये सबसे सेफ माने जाने वाले गौतम बुद्धा वन्यप्राणी आश्रयनी, बुकाढ़, गरमोरवा, पथलगड़वा सहित अन्य क्षेत्रों में 20 एकड़ से अधिक अफीम की खेती को नष्ट किया गया है।

पोस्ता नष्ट करने के अभियान में SDPO अजीत कुमार विमल थानेदार अनुपम प्रकाश, SI बादल महतो सहित पुलिस बल और वन विभाग की टीम शामिल थी। थानेदार ने कहा कि नशे के सौदागरों को किसी भी हाल में बख्शा नहीं जायेगा। ऐसे लोगों को चिन्हित करके बाय नाम केस किया जायेगा। वहीं इनपर फॉरेस्ट केस के अलावा NDPS भी लगाया जायेगा। अगली कार्रवाई इससे भी बड़े पैमाने पर होगी।

In a joint operation, the Chauparan police and the forest department team destroyed large-scale poppy cultivation using tractors. More than 20 acres of opium cultivation were destroyed in areas considered the safest for such farming, including Gautam Buddha Wildlife Sanctuary, Bukad, Garamorwa, Pathalgadwa, and others.

The campaign to destroy the poppy fields included SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal, Station In-charge Anupam Prakash, SI Badal Mahto, along with police personnel and the forest department team. The Station In-charge stated that drug traffickers will not be spared under any circumstances. Such individuals will be identified and named in cases. Moreover, along with forest cases, NDPS charges will also be applied. The next operation will be conducted on an even larger scale.
