छठ महापर्व की शुरुआत की कहानी, माता सीता की छठ पूजा से जुड़ी लोककथाएं

सबसे पहले कहां और किसने किया था छठ?

*पटना :* छठ का त्योहार ज्यादातर बिहार में मनाया जाता है. विदेशों से भी लोग किसी त्योहार पर भले ही अपने घर न आए लेकिन छठ पर जरूर आते हैं लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि बिहार में छठ की शुरुआत कब और किस जगह से हुई थी. छठ महापर्व की शुरुआत मुंगेर से हुई थी और माता सीता ने पहली बार मुंगेर में उत्तरवाहिनी गंगा के तट पर एक छोटे पर्वत पर छठ पूजन किया था.

*सबसे पहले कहां और किसने किया था छठ?*

लोक आस्था के महापर्व छठ की मुंगेर में खास अहमियत है. इस पर्व को लेकर यहां कई लोककथाएं प्रचलित हैं. उनमें से एक कथा के अनुसार सीता माता ने यहां छठ व्रत कर इस पर्व की शुरुआत की थी. आनंद रामायण के अनुसार मुंगेर जिले के बबुआ गंगा घाट से दो किलोमीटर दूर गंगा के बीच में स्थित पर्वत पर ऋषि मुद्गल के आश्रम में मां सीता ने छठ किया था. माता सीता ने जहां पर छठ किया था. वह स्थान वर्तमान में सीता चरण मंदिर के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है, तब से अंग और मिथिला समेत पूरे देश मे छठ व्रत मनाया जाने लगा.

वहीं छठ पर्व को लेकर धार्मिक और पौराणिक मान्यताएं भी हैं कि रामायण काल में मुंगेर की गंगा नदी के तट पर मां सीता ने पहली बार छठ व्रत किया था. इसके बाद से छठ व्रत मनाया जाने लगा. धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार मां सीता ने सबसे पहले मुंगेर में उत्तरवाहिनी गंगा घाट पर छठ व्रत किया था, जिस स्थान पर मां सीता ने छठ पूजा की थी. बबुआ गंगा घाट के पश्चिमी तट पर दियारा इलाके में स्थित मंदिर में माता का चरण पदचिह्न और सूप का निशान एक विशाल पत्थर पर अभी भी मौजूद है.

माता सीता ने 6 दिनों तक छठ पूजा की

वह पत्थर 250 मीटर लंबा 30 मीटर चौड़ा है. यहां पर एक छोटा सा मंदिर भी बना हुआ है, जिसे अभी लोग सीता चरण मंदिर के नाम से जानते हैं. वही धर्म के जानकार पंडित का कहना है कि ऐतिहासिक नगरी मुंगेर के सीता चरण में कभी मां सीता ने 6 दिनों तक रहकर छठ पूजा की थी, जब भगवान राम 14 साल का वनवास काटकर अयोध्या वापस लौटे थे, तो उन पर ब्राह्मण हत्या का पाप लग गया था. क्योंकि रावण ब्राह्मण कुल से आते थे और इस पाप से मुक्ति पाने के लिए ऋषि मुनियों के आदेश पर राजा राम ने राजसूय यज्ञ कराने का फैसला किया.

सूरज की उपासना करने की सलाह

इसके बाद मुद्गल ऋषि को आमंत्रित किया गया था लेकिन मुद्गल ऋषि ने अयोध्या आने से पहले भगवान राम और सीता माता को अपने आश्रम बुलाया और भगवान राम को मुंगेर में ही ब्रह्म हत्या मुक्ति यज्ञ करवाया. क्योंकि महिलाएं यज्ञ में भाग नहीं ले सकती थीं. इसलिए माता सीता को मुद्गल ऋषि ने आश्रम में ही रहने का निर्देश दिया और उन्हें सूरज की उपासना करने की सलाह दी.

दूर-दूर से छठ के लिए आते हैं लोग

मां सीता के मुंगेर में छठ व्रत करने का जिक्र आनंद रामायण के पृष्ठ संख्या 33 से 36 में भी है, जहां मां सीता ने व्रत किया वहां माता सीता के दोनों चरणों के निशान मौजूद हैं. इसके अलावा शीला पाठ सूप, डाला और लोटा के निशान हैं. मंदिर का गर्भगृह साल में 6 महीने तक गंगा के गर्भ में समाया रहता है. यह मंदिर 1974 में बनकर तैयार हुआ था, जहां दूर-दूर से लोग छठ व्रत करने के लिए आते हैं. मान्यता है कि छठ व्रत करने से लोगों की सभी मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती हैं.

पटना: बिहार में आम से लेकर खास लोग लोक आस्था के महापर्व छठ की तैयारियों में जुटे हैं। सभी लोग छठ में व्यस्त हैं। सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि इस महापर्व पर धर्म से ऊपर आस्था भारी दिख रही है।

प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में बड़ी संख्या में मुस्लिम समाज के लोग न केवल छठ घाटों की साफ-सफाई में लगे हैं, बल्कि इस समाज की महिलाएं भी छठ पर्व मना रही हैं। मुजफ्फरपुर के कालीबाड़ी की रहने वाली मुस्लिम समुदाय की महिला सायरा बेगम ऐसी ही एक महिला हैं जो पिछले आठ साल से छठ पर्व कर रही हैं। ऐसा नहीं है कि इस पर्व का इंतजार केवल सायरा बेगम को रहता है, बल्कि उनके परिवार के अन्य सदस्य भी इस पर्व में उनकी मदद करते हैं।

सायरा बेगम बताती हैं कि वह छठ पर्व पर सूर्य देवता को अर्घ्य अर्पित कर अपनी मन्नत पूरी कर रही हैं। वे कहती हैं, "मेरे पति अक्सर बीमार रहते थे। 2015 में मैंने छठी मैया से मन्नत मांगी कि अगर मेरे पति की तबीयत ठीक हो जाएगी तो मैं छठ करूंगी। इसके अगले साल ही छठी मैया की कृपा से मेरे पति की तबीयत ठीक हो गई। तब से लेकर अब तक मैं प्रति वर्ष पूरे विधि-विधान से छठ व्रत कर रही हूं।" उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक वह जिंदा रहेंगी, तब तक यह पर्व करती रहेंगी।

इसी तरह, सीतामढ़ी के बाजितपुर की रहने वाली जैमुन खातून भी पिछले कई वर्षों से पूरे विधि-विधान से छठ मना रही हैं। यही नहीं, इस गांव की कई मुस्लिम महिलाएं भी छठ पर्व करती हैं। इन महिलाओं का कहना है कि उन्हें हिंदू समुदाय के लोगों का भी सहयोग मिलता है।

बिहार की जेलों में भी मुस्लिम समाज के कैदी इस साल छठ मना रहे हैं। मुजफ्फरपुर के शहीद खुदीराम बोस केंद्रीय कारा में भी इस साल बड़ी संख्या में कैदी छठ व्रत की तैयारी में जुटे हैं। बताया जाता है कि इस जेल के 47 महिला और 49 पुरुष कैदी छठ व्रत कर रहे हैं, जिनमें तीन मुस्लिम और एक सिख समुदाय के लोग शामिल हैं।

छठ करने वाली मुस्लिम महिलाएं बताती हैं कि वे छठ महापर्व पूरी शुद्धता के साथ करती हैं और दशहरा खत्म होने के बाद घर में लहसुन-प्याज का इस्तेमाल भी बंद कर देती हैं।

कुल मिलाकर, कहा जा सकता है कि लोक आस्था का महापर्व छठ न केवल स्वच्छता का संदेश दे रहा है, बल्कि सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव की मिसाल भी पेश कर रहा है।

Saira Begum explains that she offers arghya (water offering) to the Sun God during Chhath to fulfill her vows. She says, "My husband used to fall sick often. In 2015, I vowed to Chhathi Maiya that if my husband's health improved, I would observe Chhath. The following year, with Chhathi Maiya's blessings, my husband recovered. Since then, I have observed the Chhath fast every year with full devotion." She declared that she would continue to observe this festival as long as she lives.

Similarly, Jamun Khatoon from Bajitpur, Sitamarhi, has also been celebrating Chhath with full rituals for several years. Not just her, but several Muslim women from the village also observe this festival. These women state that they also receive support from the Hindu community.

Muslim inmates in Bihar's prisons are also observing Chhath this year. In Shaheed Khudiram Bose Central Jail in Muzaffarpur, a large number of inmates are preparing for Chhath. It’s reported that 47 female and 49 male inmates are observing the festival, including three from the Muslim community and one from the Sikh community.

Muslim women celebrating Chhath say that they follow all rituals strictly and stop using garlic and onion in their households after Dussehra.

दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट का बड़ा आदेश: ‘वक्फ बोर्ड के साथ जामा मस्जिद और इसके आसपास की जगहों का हो सर्वे’

नई दिल्ली - जामा मस्जिद को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने की मांग को लेकर दायर याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण (एएसआई) को जामा मस्जिद और इसके आसपास के क्षेत्र का सर्वेक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया है।

न्यायमूर्ति प्रतिभा एम. सिंह और न्यायमूर्ति अमित शर्मा की पीठ ने एएसआई को निर्देश दिया है कि जामा मस्जिद का स्केच या संबंधित दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत करके यह बताएं कि मस्जिद परिसर का उपयोग किन उद्देश्यों के लिए किया जा रहा है। अदालत ने यह भी निर्देश दिया है कि मस्जिद से होने वाले राजस्व और दान का उपयोग कैसे किया जा रहा है, इसका विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाए। दिल्ली वक्फ बोर्ड को यह भी बताने के लिए कहा गया है कि क्या जामा मस्जिद की प्रबंध समिति के संविधान में कोई बदलाव किया गया है। अदालत ने बोर्ड को मस्जिद और इसके आसपास के संरक्षण या सुरक्षा के लिए सुझाव और प्रस्ताव भी प्रस्तुत करने को कहा। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 11 दिसंबर तक स्थगित करते हुए, अदालत ने चार सप्ताह के भीतर स्थिति रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया।

सुनवाई के दौरान वक्फ बोर्ड की ओर से वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता संजय घोष ने जानकारी दी कि 10 फरवरी 2015 के आदेश के अनुसार, मस्जिद की प्रबंध समिति में अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष, महासचिव के अलावा छह सदस्य हैं। वर्तमान समिति की स्थिति पर पीठ द्वारा पूछे जाने पर अधिवक्ता ने कहा कि वे निर्देश लेकर इस पर स्पष्ट जानकारी देंगे। दूसरी ओर, केंद्र सरकार के स्थायी अधिवक्ता मनीष मोहन और अनिल सोनी ने अदालत को सूचित किया कि एएसआई महानिदेशक के साथ हुई बैठक में एएसआई ने कहा कि जामा मस्जिद को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने के संबंध में अभी तक कोई कदम नहीं उठाया गया है।

अदालत सुहैल अहमद खान और अजय गौतम द्वारा दायर जनहित याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रही है। इन याचिकाओं में जामा मस्जिद के इमाम मौलाना सैयद अहमद बुखारी द्वारा शाही इमाम उपाधि के इस्तेमाल और उनके बेटे को नायब (उप) इमाम के रूप में नियुक्त करने पर आपत्ति जताई गई है। याचिकाओं में अधिकारियों को जामा मस्जिद को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने और उसके आसपास सभी अतिक्रमण हटाने के निर्देश देने की मांग की गई है। याचिकाओं में यह भी सवाल उठाया गया है कि जामा मस्जिद एएसआई के अधीन क्यों नहीं थी।

अधिकारियों ने हलफनामे में कहा कि एएसआई को मस्जिद की मूल फाइल नहीं मिल रही है। इसके बावजूद एएसआई ने जामा मस्जिद के पुनर्स्थापना और संरक्षण के लिए कार्य किया है। 2007-08 से 2021 तक एएसआई ने मस्जिद के मरम्मत, नवीनीकरण, संरक्षण और अन्य कार्यों में 61 लाख 82 हजार 816 रुपये खर्च किए हैं।

एएसआई ने अदालत में कहा कि जामा मस्जिद को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने से महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव पड़ेंगे। संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने पर 100 मीटर के दायरे में निर्माण प्रतिबंधित हो जाएगा। इसके अलावा, 200 मीटर के विनियमित क्षेत्र में निर्माण गतिविधियों के लिए सक्षम प्राधिकरण और राष्ट्रीय स्मारक प्राधिकरण से पूर्व अनुमति की आवश्यकता होगी। एएसआई ने कहा कि जामा मस्जिद का संरक्षण वक्फ अधिनियम, 1995 के तहत दिल्ली वक्फ बोर्ड के अंतर्गत आता है।

New Delhi – While hearing a petition demanding that Jama Masjid be declared a protected monument, the Delhi High Court has instructed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to conduct a survey of Jama Masjid and its surrounding areas.

The bench of Justice Pratibha M. Singh and Justice Amit Sharma has directed ASI to present a sketch or relevant records of Jama Masjid to clarify the purposes for which the mosque premises are being used. The court has also asked for details on how the revenue and donations collected are being utilized. The Delhi Waqf Board has been instructed to report whether there have been any changes in the constitution of the mosque's managing committee. Additionally, the court asked the board to present suggestions and proposals for the preservation or security of Jama Masjid and its surroundings. The next hearing is scheduled for December 11, with a directive to submit a status report within four weeks.

During the hearing, Senior Advocate Sanjay Ghosh, representing the Waqf Board, informed the court that as per an order dated February 10, 2015, the mosque's managing committee consists of a chairman, vice-chairman, general secretary, and six other members. When asked about the current status of the committee, the advocate stated he would provide clarification on this matter after receiving instructions. Meanwhile, government counsel Manish Mohan and Anil Soni informed the court that during a meeting with the Director General of ASI, it was stated that no steps had been taken to declare Jama Masjid a protected monument.

The court is hearing public interest litigations filed by Suhail Ahmed Khan and Ajay Gautam, objecting to the title of "Shahi Imam" used by Jama Masjid's Imam, Maulana Syed Ahmed Bukhari, and the appointment of his son as Naib (Deputy) Imam. The petitions have requested that authorities declare Jama Masjid a protected monument and remove all encroachments in its vicinity. The petitions also question why Jama Masjid has not been placed under the ASI's jurisdiction.

Authorities stated in an affidavit that the ASI has not been able to locate the original file for Jama Masjid. Nevertheless, the ASI has undertaken restoration and conservation work at the mosque, spending a total of INR 6,182,816 on repairs, renovations, conservation, and other activities from 2007–08 to 2021.

The ASI informed the court that declaring Jama Masjid a protected monument would have significant implications. Upon being declared a protected monument, a 100-meter radius around it would become a no-construction zone. Additionally, in the 200-meter regulated area beyond that, construction activities would require prior permission from the competent authority and the National Monuments Authority. The ASI noted that the protection of Jama Masjid falls under the Delhi Waqf Board, as per the Waqf Act of 1995.

A group of young bikers has set off on a four-day ride to the Maa Tara Peeth (in Bengal), spreading messages of unity and harmony along the way. With assembly election results approaching and talks of a new government intensifying, people are showing their support for their preferred leaders in unique ways. Prashant Mohanty from Seraikela-Adityapur, along with his fellow bikers, has undertaken this ride as a prayer for the return to power of former Chief Minister Champai Soren.

People are visiting religious sites across the country, praying for a BJP government to return in the state. Notably, on October 27th, Prashant Mohanty had also made a vow at the famous Haathi Kheda temple in Kolhan for Champai Soren's victory, promising to go barefoot until Soren, a former Chief Minister and MLA from Seraikela, wins. पद्मश्री मुकुंद नायक नागपुरी के प्रख्यात कलाकार हैं. वे नागपुरी नृत्य व गीतों के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं. उन्हें 2017 में पद्मश्री तथा 2019 में संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है. उन्होंने नागपुरी नृत्य झूमर को अंतरराष्ट्रीय पहचान दिलायी है.

Mukund Nayak's Condition Stable, Under Doctor's Supervision

Renowned Nagpuri artist Padma Shri Mukund Nayak is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in Delhi. His son Nandlal Nayak stated that his health is improving, and he's under doctors' supervision. Previously, Mukund had no movement in his hands and legs, but now there's slight movement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over Mukund's health and instructed Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to visit him. Shekhawat assured all possible assistance on behalf of the PM.
