पहला जब तक बकाया राशि का भुगतान किस्तों में नहीं हो जाता, तब तक कोल इंडिया और उसकी सहायक कंपनियों को ब्याज राशि का भुगतान करना शुरू किया जाये. वहीं दूसरा भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक में कोल इंडिया के खाते में जमा राशि से झारखंड राज्य को सीधे डेबिट कराया जाये. जैसा कि झारखंड राज्य बिजली बोर्ड के साथ डीवीसी के बकाया मामले में किया गया था.
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Asks PM Modi to Clear Rs 1.36 Lakh Crore Dues
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his letter, he has requested that the central coal companies pay the outstanding amount of ₹1.36 lakh crore owed to Jharkhand. CM Hemant Soren has presented two options to PM Modi for the payment of this outstanding amount.
The first option is that until the full payment is made in installments, Coal India and its subsidiaries should start paying the interest amount. The second option is that the amount owed to Jharkhand should be directly debited from Coal India’s account in the Reserve Bank of India, similar to how it was done in the case of the outstanding dues of the Jharkhand State Electricity Board with DVC.
